Rare pair of chairs with a crossbow belt, in molded and richly carved beech, with a straight back slightly violinized with shell decoration, acanthus leaves and water leaves, the belt decorated with florets and foliage in a polylobed cartel, reticulated motifs, acanthus leaves, rockeries, shells, etc., standing on four arched legs ending in scrolls and joined by an X-shaped spacer (minor accidents, traces of pitting, two small ends of legs redone).
Régence period, circa 1725.
