Georges Trincot (1921-2005) Georges Trincot was born in Paris in 1921. After the death of his parents, he and his brother were taken in by their uncle in Switzerland, a great horseman and owner of a riding school near Bern. At a very young age, Trincot drew horses. In 1935, he returned to France and obtained his teaching diploma. In 1960, he decided to become a professional painter and exhibited in France, in New York, Zurich, Luxembourg, Monte Carlo. Between 1962 and 1993, he received several awards for his paintings and his artistic commitment. After having explored figurative painting, Georges Trincot threw himself fervently into abstract painting to finally create his own synthesis of these two artistic movements. In his imaginary spaces, Trincot paints horses, flowers, nature, trains and nudes. He transcribes the emotion of a sublime moment thanks to a dosage of colors and unreal light.
