"Cansado Sideboard By Charlotte Perriand, Circa 1960 "
"Cansado" sideboard, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1957. Designed for the mining town of Cansado in Mauritania, this sideboard embodies the functional rigor and refined elegance specific to Charlotte Perriand. Its mahogany veneer structure accommodates two contrasting sliding doors, one white, the other black, accompanied by four side drawers. The whole rests on a black lacquered metal base, giving lightness and modernity to the piece.
