The Moser factory was founded in 1857 in Karlovy Vary by the engraver and businessman Ludwig Moser. Barely 20 years later, he became the official supplier of Franz Joseph I and, later, of the Persian Shah Musaffereddin and of the King of England Edward VII. At the beginning of the 20th century, the artistic style of the crystalworks changed to adopt decorative techniques that are still typical of Moser productions today. The Moser crystalworks, with a 160-year tradition, has supplied its products to emperors, kings and other powerful people of this world. In the Czech Republic, Moser has four showrooms (two in Prague and two in Karlovy Vary), but also sells its products in stores all over the world. The company is known for its production of delicate stemware, decorative glassware (such as vases, ashtrays, candlesticks), luxury glass gifts and various art prints.
