"Nevers - Patronymic Plate Dated 1782 With Decoration Of Saint Louis 18th Century Earthenware 18th Century"
Plate with contoured border and polychrome enamel decoration representing Saint Louis standing on a herborized terrace. He is wearing his fleur-de-lis coat and holds the hand of Justice, the crown of Christ and the three nails of the crucifixion. Patronymic inscription in the lower register "Louise Morineau", and the date 1782. Nevers, end of the 18th century. Diameter 22.5 cm. Good general condition. Some chips on the rim and two small fixing holes visible at the top.
