"Yvon Roy (xx), Pansu Vase "horses", Atelier Montgolfier, 1960"
Pot-bellied vase in enamelled stoneware with horse decoration, signed Montgolfier underneath, unique piece France. Piece by Yvon Roy for the Montgolfier workshop from the 1960s. "In 1943, Yvon Roy created a pottery in Durtal and launched his first collections of tableware, which quickly became a reference. After the accidental death of Mr. Roy, the Atelier d'Art was taken over by Robert de Montgolfier. This company is now known throughout the world. Its famous square plates, the "Kyoto" range, are one of its jewels. 73 years later, Yvon Roy would be proud of what the company has become. Bought in 2005 by Delphine Stroesser, Montgolfier is still based in Durtal. The "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" label has confirmed the tradition of excellence that has always been the watchword of this workshop."
