Object description :

"John Ild Library By Philippe Starck, 1984 "
Philippe Starck introduced the John Ild model in 1977, marking his debut in bookcase design. The name of this bookcase is a tribute to a character from Philip K. Dick's novel Ubik, which holds significant influence over Starck's artistic endeavors.

Crafted with precision, the bookcase features a sleek structure comprising of two black metal tubing uprights. These uprights can  be positioned against a wall, providing a foundation for five black trays that are elegantly suspended.

There is a missing tip on one of the bottom ends, but it does not affect the stability of the piece.
