"Tall Cobalt Blue Baccarat Crystal Vase, Gold Ivy Garland Pattern - 39.6cm"
Large cobalt blue Baccarat crystal vase from the Napoleon III period, mid-19th century circa 1850 - 1860, model of molded vase with ivy garland enhanced with fine gold. The vase shown in The collection of drawings representing exactly the crystals included in the General Tariff of the Baccarat Glass and Crystal Company (1865). A smaller format than ours is photographed in its green opaline version in the book Les opalines by Christine Vincendeau. Spectacular format, very decorative, in very good condition. No accidents, some local wear of gilding on the edges and the neck, but the whole is still very fresh and has a lot of allure. Height: 39.7cm Neck diameter: 19cm Base diameter: 11.2cm
