"Art Deco Style Display Cabinet Or Bookcase France Ca 1920"
I present to you for sale this beautiful Art Deco piece of furniture of French origin dating from the 1920s. It is a display cabinet, or bookcase, remarkable for its quality of manufacture as well as for the use of rather precious materials. This piece of furniture was indeed made with great care. Its structure is in oak and is furnished with a magnificent veneer of amboyna burl. It is topped with a beautiful breccia marble and is decorated with bronze handles. It has three doors, including the central one in glass, circled with nickel-plated metal, as well as a drawer at the bottom. The two wooden doors hide mahogany shelves, adjustable in height. The central part is furnished with three glass shelves also adjustable. The piece of furniture has its three keys. It has been completely restored according to the rules of the art and repolished with a natural shellac buffer. For a piece of furniture over a hundred years old, it is therefore in remarkable condition. Only the marble has a few very small chips on its edge, very barely visible. Here is an elegant piece of furniture, of very beautiful craftsmanship, practical as a display case, sideboard or bookcase and in a remarkable condition of presentation.
