Elkington & Co is a famous English silversmith company founded by brothers George and Henry Elkington in the 1830s. First known as GR Elkington & Co, it recruited a third partner between 1842 and 1861. During the 19th century, Elkington would become one of the largest producers of silver and silver plated metal. The company continued until 1963 before being bought by British Silverware Ltd.
