Young lady, probably from a noble family, in an elegant dress typical of the period, brightly coloured, embellished with lace, ribbons and a conspicuous gold and stone crucifix, a sign of faith and wealth confirmed by the other jewellery. Oil painting on a copper foil, datable to 17th century Italian ambit, probably Tuscan school. Measuring approx. 5x6 cm excluding antique but not contemporary frame, a fine antique ground crystal protects the painting.
