- Solid silver thimble frieze decorated with an ostrich pulling a wheeled chariot with a seated figure holding an umbrella. - French title hallmark in use from 1838 to 1962 boar's head 800/1000 and partially erased diamond-shaped goldsmith's mark. - The thimble has been tested with a touchstone for an acid reaction of a reddish-orange color confirming that it is solid silver. - Smooth edge of the base of the thimble. - Early 20th century period around 1900-1915. - Net weight: 4.94 gr.
