"Byobu Japanese Screen 2 Panels Edo Period (late 18th Century) "

Very beautiful and old Byobu in 2 panels covered with gold paper dating from the Edo period. 1603.1878. On each panel, an ink drawing on a mounted paper sheet representing a roaring tiger and another representing a dragon; both from the Muromachi period. 1536.1573 Some gold leaves have lost their shine, particularly at the bottom. Note 3 small dents in the paper on the front and 4 on the back without consequences given the age of the object. Measures 151 x 113cm
