Oil on canvas after the famous painting by Paul Delaroche "The Children of Edward" painted in 1830. In the troubadour style, this large format represents King Edward V and his brother the Duke of York in 1483 at the Tower of London shortly before their fatal destiny..... Formerly restored and relined this large painting painted in the 19th century shortly after its original kept at the Louvre Museum. Small chip of paint at the top right of the painting. Amusing detail: King Edward painted on the four-poster bed.
