Louis XV Provencal Curved Console

Small console curved on three sides in Louis XV style. Provencal work in solid walnut. It rests on four arched legs ending in a scroll, the scalloped belt is animated to form the curve. On the front, a drawer carved with volutes with two bronze pull handles. Under this drawer, the crosspiece is carved with motifs characteristic of the Provencal style: a vase with handles from which ears of wheat and flowers escape. The console is worked on these four sides. The solid walnut top takes up the curved shapes of the belt, ending in a beak of corbin. In very good condition, no insect bites, having undergone no cabinetmaking restoration! Blond walnut color / waxed finish. Work early 20th century around 1900/1920.
