A rare and beautiful Wine Taster Angevin in solid silver from the Louis XV period, plain model and snake handle. Border engraved "JEAN CHUPEN". Well hallmarked (see body and handle) with the Charge and Discharge Hallmarks for ANGERS 1762-68, Jurande Hallmarks for ANGERS 1766 (V Crowned) and Hallmarks (on body and handle) of the Master Goldsmith Nicolas BEDANE received in 1713.
