Francisco Bayeu Y Subias (1734 - 1795) Religious Painting Study Royal Palace Of Aranjuez

Very rare painting by the Spanish painter Francisco BAYEU Y SUBIAS (1734 - 1795).
This painter born in Zaragoza and died in Madrid was a painter of King Charles III and friend of GOYA who married his sister and made her portrait.
The painting I am offering you is certainly part of the preparatory studies for the frescoes in the Public Chapel of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez.
This painting must have been made around 1778.
Many paintings by Francisco BAYEU Y SUBIAS are on display at the Prado museum in Madrid.

As you can see from the photos, this table is to be restored. 
It was formerly rentoilé, the chassis is old.
There are several shortages of material but the scene is complete (see photo of the fresco in the chapel.
