"Provencal Sheath, Late 18th-early 19th Century, With Added Sculpted Flowery Foliage. "
Very decorative oak Provencal column-sheath from the end of the 18th, beginning of the 19th century. It is lacquered/painted yellow-ocher with three sides open with openwork carvings of rich garlands of green cherry laurels with red fruits. The fourth side is full. The lacquer paint is a little marked by friction from use without harming the aesthetics or the general coloring.
Sheath furniture in very good condition.
