"Louis XV Period Pocket Lantern "
Rare pocket lantern from the LOUIS XV period in boxwood and folded paper (a tiny tear in the paper to report) Very few lanterns remain because obviously they caught fire and this type of object was only found among the aristocracy. A beautiful testimony to the Age of Enlightenment
