Two beautiful double-page colour lithographed plates from a rare collection with archaeological plates. Both lithographs are extremely decorative and rich in details of some Greek vessels and vases, large-format engravings, carefully executed, were produced by the Hein & Mosler workshop in Berlin.

This very elaborate publication is the main work of the artist Albert Genick (1837-1906), an architect trained in Berlin, who later became one of the leaders in the field of graphic representation of ancient ceramics in Rome. It is extremely rare, only a few plates from this series occasionally appear in the trade.Condition: stains and pitting on the white background, the lithographed parts have however not been touched. Traces of the fold of the double page Good general condition for its age
