VERRONET, Lyon, 1891 Format; 15 x 19 cm Rare and amusing collection illustrated by 7 albumen prints devoted to a play. The Cercle du Divan, formed in 1841, was the circle of the aristocracy and the upper middle class of Lyon. Its objective was to provide a place for friendly meetings for its members. Its headquarters, after several moves, moved to the building at 27 Place Bellecour.
