Augusto Murer (Falcade, May 21, 1922 – Padua, June 11, 1985) was an Italian sculptor, painter, and partisan.He was one of the most significant Italian sculptors of the second half of the 20th century, with a vast artistic production linked to themes of civic engagement as well as the search for the deeper meaning of human experience.
The sculpture presented by our gallery, created in 1970, depicts a boy in his simplicity.
It is signed at the base 'A. Murer 70' and has an elegant marble base, bringing its overall height to 50 cm.
