"Jean-lin Descamps (1934-2020) Gouache Lithograph “still Life With Woodcock”"
Jean-Lin Descamps (1934-2020) was a French artist known for his paintings and lithographs, particularly nature and hunting scenes. Here we have a gouache lithograph, numbered 2/230, signed lower right and dated Christmas 1966 engraved for the Havas agency for Mr. and Mrs. Henri Fouques Duparc, former mayor of Oran and minister under General de Gaulle. Lithograph on glazed and well framed vellum paper. Size 57 x 42. This work was purchased at auction directly from the house of Mr. and Mrs. Fouques Duparc.
