Barrel with sides then round, with thirty-six rifling; monogrammed on the right side ‘MI’ for Manufacture Impériale and dated ‘1859’; on the left side punched with an ‘L’ and an ‘M’, respectively with two stars in a rhombus.
Tailstock with frog.
Lock marked ‘Mre. Imp. De Châtellerault’.
Iron fittings. Nail head ramrod.
Walnut frame. Hinged and spring cap.
Control marks.
Very good condition.
