"Art Deco Style Desk, Writing Desk Or Dressing Table, France 1925"
Elegance, refinement and quality of materials, here is a good summary of the definition of the Art Deco style. This writing desk is a French work circa 1925. This piece of furniture is made of solid beech veneered with ash burl. It is decorated with polished solid brass elements. It is a double-sided piece of furniture. Its flap is fitted with an original mirror allowing it to be used as a dressing table. Behind the door, the box contains a shelf. The desk is completely restored according to the rules of the art and repolished with a natural shellac buffer. It is therefore in almost perfect condition, only the mirror shows some signs of wear which is natural, it is about a hundred years old! Here is a quality piece of furniture in perfect condition, ideal as an elegant desk, dressing table and why not as a console.
