"Napoleon III Octagonal Pedestal Table "
Elegant octagonal pedestal table from the Napoleon III period. It rests on four legs joined by a cross-shaped spacer, the four fluted uprights are slightly rounded. The hexagonal belt is surrounded by an openwork bronze gallery which holds the white Carrara marble top. This piece of furniture made of mahogany is richly decorated with very finely chiseled gilded bronzes, wooden and brass spinning tops add to the ornamentation. In very good condition, no restoration undergone, the marble is not broken!
