"19th Century Miniature Cast Iron Cookers"
Two cast iron cookers dating from the 1880s. Faithful replicas to scale of real cookers from the end of the 19th century, these miniature models were used by representatives when canvassing customers, thus allowing them to present the products offered by the manufacturer to customers. Strictly identical to the large ones, it was easier to sell them. Two versions are presented here: a small one with two burners and two ovens and a larger, more luxurious one with two burners, bain-marie, hot water reserve, two ovens and equipped on the side with utensil holders and towel dryer! Symbol of the 19th century industry with its many forges and foundries. They are very complete, without breakage, very nicely crafted on all sides. They were often used as a gift when parents decided to buy the real one, the reduction was offered to children.
