A blue and white Dutch Delft vase with lid. The vase has a chinoiserie decoration in Kangxi style with birds in a floral landscape, in cartouches. The lid is also floral decorated with on top a lion with the paw on a ball: the globe. This represents the might of the Dutch Republic.
The vase is in good condition, with some small restorations to the base rim and the rim of the lid. Further with the normal superficial wear and small chips according to age.
