"Japanese Katana Holder Lacquered In Gold And Mother Of Pearl"
Very beautiful katana stand (katana kake) entirely lacquered on a nashiji lacquer base and with a decoration of butterflies in light relief in fundame lacquer. The base has a floral decoration, on a nashiji background, in mother-of-pearl with some small losses. The whole is in very good condition. Period: Meiji (1868-1912). Dimensions: 22 x 29 x H65 cm.
