Curved display cabinet, opening with a door, in rosewood in Martin varnish with gilt bronze mounts, attributed to François Linke (1855-1946), Louis X style, France. Its top is an authentic Aleppo marble. In French interior decoration, Martin varnish is a type of Japanese lacquer or imitation lacquer named after the French Martin brothers of the 18th century.
