"Marcel Lainé-langford, “small Mediterranean Fishing Port”, Hst 1900. Lainé Langford."
Bright oil on canvas mounted by Marcel Lainé-Langford. This landscape painter produced numerous works between the 19th and 20th centuries, including representations of the port of Toulon. This work represents a small fishing port in full activity with houses and a wooded hill in the background. The colors and brushstrokes are vigorous and they represent the light of the South well. Modern wooden frame with silver highlights. Signature at the bottom right "M Lainé-Langford". Please note: this painting is in good general condition. There is a stain, perhaps from the workshop, at the bottom left and a small hole with missing paint at the top in the middle (against the edge of the frame). Please look carefully at the photos.
