Superb solid silver serving dish by the goldsmith Georges Falkenberg, received as a master in Paris in 1894. Circular and polylobed in shape, with eight pinched ribs, it is festooned with a generous pearl frieze; it enhances a very beautiful interlacing ornament of vine leaves and their branches sprinkled with pearls. Micro-scratches and "points" from normal use, very light traces of polishing after a necessary revival in our workshops.
