Jacques Adnet (1900-1984) was a French architect and designer who began his career in one of the first modern art workshops, La Maîtrise, directed by Maurice Dufrêne. In 1928, Jacques Adnet became the director of the Compagnie des Arts Français and collaborated with many artists such as Picasso, Dunand and Perriand. Thanks to his works featuring clean, simple designs and the use of new materials such as glass and metal, he is considered one of the leading representatives of French modernism and Art Deco.
