Object description :

"Reliquary Of Saint Crescent - Late 18th Century "
Crescent was a young Roman who during the persecution of Diocletian was beheaded on the Via Salaria, for having remained faithful to Christ.
In a large cartouche we find a beautiful ex-ossibus relic surrounded by golden canetilles, pearls and glass beads of various colors.
Our reliquary has a very beautiful wooden frame, carved and gilded.
On the back is a wax seal.
Good condition
Dimensions of 38 cm by 28 cm and 6 cm deep
