"The Fifteen Joys Of Marriage. 19th Century Amateur Edition "
The fifteen joys of marriage is a text from the end of the Middle Ages, published at the end of the 14th century. The publisher cites as a source a manuscript kept in the library of Rouen. The subject, in the medieval truculent vein, is the satire of the torments of marriage, between a shrewd woman and a clumsy husband. This text has been constantly reissued, at different times, until today. Here the work presented is a small neat edition, on Japanese paper, under an amateur corner binding. Good state of conservation.
