Hervé DI ROSA (born in 1959) Grotesque (Di Rosa Action n°2) Acrylic on canvas, signed and titled lower left H. 92 cm - W. 73 cm Hervé Di Rosa born on December 17, 1959 in Sète is a French painter. In 1981 he co-founded with Richard Di Rosa, François Boisrond, Rémi Blanchard and Robert Combas the free figuration movement, thus named by the artist Ben. It is a revival of painting in the 1980s, a painting often borrowing from comics, rock and graffiti. The artist is in line with the news of his time with a colorful, graphic style with a painting that refers to popular arts.
