"Regency Period Pediment Mirror"
Regency period mirror in gilded wood, with reserves.This mirror framed with Bérain style sticks is decorated with carved shell spandrels surrounded by foliage, acanthus leaves and scrolls.
The side reserves are in wavy mirror.
Its pediment has a mirror also framed with Bérain-style baguettes and reserves.
Its gilded wood decoration presents an eagle with outstretched wings on either side of the corners and is surmounted in the center by a large palmette against a background of Queen decoration and surrounded by rolled up foliage.
Regency period work with mercury mirror and original gilding.
