Brass, horn, steel Total length: 91.5 ; Blade length: 76.5 cm
Brass mounting, cap with laurel leaf border along the short tail.
Handle in brown horn, watermarked with copper wire, with thirteen grooves.
Rounded joint arch, three joined branches, rolled quillon, control marks. Openwork top with carved rosette and plant motifs, stamped ‘49586’.
Straight blade with central gutters, marked ‘Manufacture Nationale d'armes de Châtellerault aout 1915 - Adjt - d'Infrie - Mle - 1845 E’, control marks. Scabbard in iron with a bracelet of bélière, stamped ‘49586’, punches of control.
