Very beautiful painting, late 19th / early 20th century, depicting a sleigh speeding through a snowy landscape. The style seems to correspond (1858-1923) to that of the Russian painter Alexei Stepanov. On the top of the frame, in the middle, there is an inscription. It is difficult to read, but it could correspond to "Stepanov". See photos. The old yellowed varnish has been replaced. The painting is in excellent condition.
