Sleeper earrings in 750/°° yellow gold (18 KT, owl hallmark) very representative of their Napoleon III era, the black enamel appliques. They are decorated with finely chiseled dome-shaped rosette motifs and embellished in their center with fine pearls in characteristic colors. The sleeper systems are rendered by more contemporary "swan necks", which pass through the front effortlessly and are easy to handle. A joint between the two upper and lower parts of each earring gives them mobility when worn.
