Brigitte BARDOT (born in 1934), French actress, singer and animal rights activist Pause cigarette, (circa 1965) Later silver print on Canson Museum paper by photographer Daniel Cande. Size: 46 x 49 cm Edition: 1/8 Signed lower right and bearing the photographer's wet stamp on the back of the image. Daniel Cande, born in 1938, began his career as a photographer for the Apis and Europress agencies. From 1965, he specialized in the field of entertainment. He worked in particular for the Comédie-Française, for the Renaud-Barrault company and the Tréteaux de France. He subsequently became interested in the world of circus and puppets. All of his photographs of the show from 1965 to the 2000s are kept at the National Library of France.
