Vienna Style Wall Hanging Regulator Clock, Austria/Germany Black Forest Circa 1850-80.Ebonised and rosewood case.
The movement has been fully cleaned and serviced and is in fully working order, striking on a gong every 30 minutes, running for 1 week.
The movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power.
Still with the original enamel dial, pendulum scale and hands.
Very interesting is to see the original hand written text of the names and the date of 31st. October 1878 on the back of the pendulum bob.
The original brass weights and pendulum have been lacquered so polishing is not needed.
In very good original used condition, with very nice patination.
