Here is an unusual object, it is gilded bronze stamp box, with two compartments, opening by hinged lid in shape of lying dog, of breed: Hovawart, the Austrian farm dog, who stands guard.
Patina is superb, the plain sole with two screws is a classic of Viennese productions, (which did not paint all animals). No apparent signature.
Internal gilding is still fresh, no flaws, normal wear.
Dimensions: 15cm x 7cm x 4cm.
