Pair of Lamps : Rare pair of electrified candlesticks, in chased bronze, original mercury gilding.Pair of Louis XV-style, gilt bronze and chased candlesticks decorated with foliage and vine shoots, coiled and twisted, intertwining in pure Rocaille style.
The shaft rests on a tripod base richly chased with scrolls, acanthus leaves, fine pearls, shells and latticework.
The exuberant, magnificently sculpted forms give great movement to these two pieces made in the second half of the 19th century.
In very good condition.
