Rare Large Pewter Sprinkler - Lyon, End Of The 17th Century

Rare and large pewter SPRINKLER, baluster shape with gadrooned pedestal and lid pierced with rosettes enhanced with engraved lines. Control mark: FF crowned / LYON / 1691. The control listed immediately after is from the vintage of 1694. This allows this object to be dated precisely. Rare mark of Pierre VERNAY received master around 1693: FIN / PV / dauphin.
Height: 20.8 cm.
LYON, Circa 1693-1694

Rare and in very good condition, some stains on the lower molding of the stopper are noted. The screw is a little worn but still functional
