Beautiful alabaster statuette made at the beginning of the 20th century after the marble boar by the Florentine sculptor Giovanni Battista Foggini (17th/18th century). The latter was inspired by the bronze boar from the ancient period in the Uffizi Museum in Florence. Please note: -The presence of a chip on one of the ears.
