Vercingétorix, Meerschaum Pipe To The Grand Gaul, Parisian Workshops Circa 1860

Beautiful Meerschaum pipe head from 19th century, Ateliers Parisiens, in its marked leather half-case (quite dirty).  Napoleon III period which revived the legend of Vercingétorix, (statue by Clermont Ferrand).
Smoked patina is superb, the warrior with large mustaches, helmeted with wings looks proud, whole thing is in fairly good condition, but has been smoked a lot, worn in hands, a few small flaws: a part of wing of helmet is missing, bridge of nose worn, a hair below. (see arrows on photos).
Dimensions: Case: 11cm x 9cm x 5.2cm approximately.
