Woodcock and Partridge, pair of still lifes
Spelter on walnut panel
H.: 47 cm; W.: 34 cm
These two still lifes, created in the spirit of hunting trophies, are the work of Paul Comoléra or his student Jules Moigniez. Both excelled in the representation of birds and their sculptures are distinguished by the finesse of their chiseling and the attention paid to detail.
