Louis XV bookcase in rosewood veneer and light wood marquetry, decorated with gilded bronze fittings. This two-part piece of furniture has an upper part composed of two glass doors decorated with gilded bronze rods towards the inside. The joint cover and the entrances are also in chiseled bronze. The lock is in perfect working order and is accompanied by its key. The rosewood is arranged diagonally. This piece of furniture has a pediment in the shape of a gendarme's hat. A two-part floral marquetry depicts foliage, scrolls and flowers. On the uprights, large bronze fittings represent a smiling face with shell and scrolls. A large bronze fitting depicting a shell surrounded by scrolls is positioned in relief on the molded cornice. In the lower part, this piece of furniture has two panel doors with a central composition depicting musical instruments, a musical score and flowers. This marquetry is surrounded by bronze rods.
