Antique book from the 18th century from the library of Professor Alexandre Lubomirski. Universal history from the beginning of the world until now, Paris, at Moutard, Printer-Bookseller of the Queen. Rue des mathurins, Hôtel de Cluni. Volume XXXVII from 1785. Good condition, some non-through punctures on the cover and wear. Light stain in the upper part from page 415 (see photos). Binding: leather with super embossed and gilded ex libris of Prince Aleksander Ignacy Lubomirski on the front cover: coat of arms of Szreniawa without the cross, on the back cover inscription: "De La Bibliotheque Mr. Le. Pr. Alexandre Lubomirski." Spine in good condition. Unique piece because it comes from the library of Alexandre Lubomirski (died in 1808), son of Stanislas, voivode of kyiv, colonel, general of the French army, castellan of kyiv in 1785-1790. He was heir to the Poberez estate and the key of Opolski, owner of a library in Niezdow. His wife was Rozalia de Chodkiewicz Lubomirska (guillotined during the French Revolution). The collection was inherited by his daughter, the wife of Waclaw Rzewuski - Emir. Good condition. Delivery for France with insurance: €15
